The theory of still

There is something very precious about a still image. I normally leave most of the images intact when I upload to the private portfolio area, taking out only the most blurry, accidental pics of grey cards, etc.

Why?

Because I want to show the step by step progression. Getting from one beauty shot to the next takes time and I want to show that. As much as I have an interest in what goes on behind the scenes in a movie, or even in the theatre of life, I have an interest in seeing it all. I shoot the site with my self in mind as the audience after all.

So consider all the so-so images and almost duplicates to be the bonus extras. Each moment still precious though.

And yeah, I'll be shooting more video too.
